THE BIG: Located in Eckington, this brewery has a speakeasy interior with comfy chairs and fun for the family. Street parking available. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with my sister on a Sunday afternoon and it was nice! She raved about how good the beers are here and she wasn't wrong. We got the dark lager, two IPAs and a pilsner. All were great. I still think Other Half brewing is king of IPAs. The lager and pilsner here was very good. For the vibes, Lost Generation has the standard giant bar with beer taps with the placards of beers that they serve. They don't do traditional flights but there are individual pricing for the 4oz pours. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall the damage done for four 4oz beers was around $18. Great vibes in the brewery and good beers. Nice to see more options in Northeast DC.

Came by with a group of friends for lost gen's 2nd birthday. It was my first time there and wow!! I was so impressed, especially as a non-beer drinker. My partner was a big fan of the polish pilsner, and I loved their seltzer. I really appreciate when breweries offer a variety of options, including a seltzer or cider, and lost gen definitely did. There was also a bbq situation outside! The space is huge and super cute, and the staff are super nice. This is such a hidden gem!

NOMA, WASHINGTON DC - Darn fine microbrewery smack dab between the NoMa and Rhode Island Red Line Metro stations. Lot of thought went into this place - beer menus everywhere, which is a small thing but really common sense. The missus and I stopped here on a Saturday early afternoon while in NoMa, sat at the bar, and glad we did. The four beers we tried - four five-oz pours, $3.50 to $4 each - were uniformly decent to good, not a stinker among them (the fruited sour is very watermelon-y, am not a big Oktoberfest fan generally but this was a good one). Service was great - attentive, they kept our water glasses filled and the place was clean. Very dog-friendly joint. Not overly loud. We'd return.

Went for trivia on Sunday night and it was fun! Very lively atmosphere. I got their blueberry lemonade seltzer and the 8oz was $10.....so with tip, I spent a bit over $11. Crazy prices but the seltzer itself was good. Quick service and plenty of seating (dog friendly indoor and out).

I really enjoy this brewery! I have been several times, and I plan to keep coming back. I like sitting on their little outdoor patio when the weather is nice. The inside of the brewery is super spacious, and the walls are covered in murals. The owner is friendly, and the brews are unique. I really like the hazy IPAs I have tried there. They usually have a food truck out front but they do not make food at the brewery.

Came to Lost Generation as a part of an event and I loved it. We had a large group and they were very efficient at serving everyone. I have never really tried beers or ciders but I absolutely loved the Grapefruit Orange Sour and the prices were amazing. I will definitely be back.

I am not a beer connoisseur but I really liked lost gen! It was a comfortable atmosphere and I enjoyed the live jazz. Jazz is every Saturday night and it's free!!! I think they also have a Friday night show. This would be a great spot to hang out with friends. Plus you get to sample the ever-rotating selection of beers. There is enough variety that two trips are not the same. I visited in Feb, 2024 and tried the Tiger Spirit, POG Sour and Edge of Consciousness. Edge of Consciousness was my favourite AND I can come back for more IPAs because they usually have more than one on the menu, with seasonal releases.
